The Table blends the simple shape language of building blocks with the warmth of cherry-stained wood, reflective of the wood cabinetry, trim, and flooring often found in homes in the turn of the millennium. Its oculus top has a removable glass disk, allowing for plants to be placed in the center. This mode of encasing is inspired by the large entertainment centers made to hold CRT televisions and their play of interior/exterior through windowed cabinetry.
