Inspired by grandfather clocks and the design language of late 20th century town centers, the Tower’s use of light helps carry the concept of time without the need for physical clock hands, but simply by its perpetual cycle of easing on at night and off in the morning. The frosted glass upper shelf allows for temporal storing of small items, while the oculus windows add a hint of ornamentation and a diffused glow of warm light.
